Wetherby Building Systems

Wetherby Building Systems is the UK leader in external insulation systems which can be applied to the outside of buildings to increase the heat retention and reduce energy consumption.

In commissioning Tigershark to produce a series of product videos, Wetherby Building Systems were seeking to accomplish three principle aims:-

Explain how their innovative external insulation products work (in layman's terms) and illustrate how the Wetherby approach can radically reduce household heating bills
Secondly they wanted an installation guide to give tradesmen and contractors an overview on how to install wetherby products.
And, ultimately, they wanted a video which could be easily distributed via the company's website to increase the number of qualified leads for the sales team.

The video will be used primarily on YouTube via the Wetherby Building Systems website.

The video will also form a key part of the sales material used during client appointments.

Save Energy - Save Money

Whilst there is an ongoing debate about whether humans have caused climate change, there is absolutely no doubt that energy consumption costs money.

With household gas and electricity bills on an ever-increasing spiral and new building regulations meaning there is increasing pressure on homes to be more energy efficient, UK homeowners, landlords and housing associations need all the help they can get in improving energy efficiency.

Heat loss through walls is one of the most difficult problems to solve, which is where Wetherby Building Systems' external insulation products are coming into their own.

The system involves the mechanical and/or adhesive fixing of insulation boards to the outside of a building, which is then covered with a mesh reinforcement, a base coat and a final decorative finish. This layered method encases the property and helps prevent heat from escaping unnecessarily from the property.

All of the WBS systems allow architects to confidently specify a range of flexible building solutions that not only conform to current building regulations and energy standards, but offers a wide choice of final finishes to fully meet the client's aesthetic expectations.
